Questionable for the game... Kendall and Washington. Washington didn’t play the ISU game. Cowan is done for the season after having knee surgery. Bailey won’t be eligible for the 1st half of the OU game after getting tossed for targeting in the 2nd half of the ISU game.

I saw him play in the Spring Scrimmage. The kid has an arm.

Maybe Neal can keep things simple enough for him to be effective.

I would live to see Lowe get some game experience.

I think he will get the start unless Kendall is 100%, this season is in the tank, use him and see how he does, if he doesn't perform, than let Doege play a few games at the end and see how he does. Need to get these questions answered before next year. Brown mentioned it in his press conference about Lowe. I think Brown will want to get the others some experience and some film to see what he has for next year, I just don't see the improvement as the season goes on that I was promised by some. What happened to the team that whipped up on NCST? What has happened to our second half team that started the first few games?

IMO... once we get past OU... there isn’t another team left on the schedule I expect to lose to. Doesn’t mean I think we’re going to win. Simply means we are at least competitive enough to beat any of the other teams in the Big 12.

I would hate to see a kid get his first start against OU. If the coaches feel Lowe gives us the best chance to win, then I have to trust their judgement.

I can’t see how he’ll be able to develop enough chemistry with the WR’s in less than 1 week’s prep. Lowe has been 3rd string... getting very few reps through the year.

I actually think there is a lot to play for. The HC has spent a number of future scholarships on this year’s team. He’s invested to win this year. To go in and tank the season would seem to be a waste after he did so much to bring guys like Reuben Jones and the LSU transfer/punter to the team so late in the off season.

We won't MAKE him pass it but... he will, and he will pass it well against our depleted/suspended/young secondary. We'll play as hard as we can and won't quit imo but we aren't ready to compete with OU...just yet.
