Okay @WVUDAD if you consider him wanting to visit other schools and Dana saying no as 'we told him to look elsewhere', then I suppose we did, but he was already looking. Dana (and I respect him for this) won't put up with that. If you commit but are still looking, yeah, he'll say bye-bye. Mike Harley was 'huge' at the time, same deal w/ him. He (Dana) did that with someone else (ended up at TN, too funny).

That is my understanding. The rating would be considered too high based on our coaches assessment of his SR year. Add to this... the kid ended up at SU.

I actually talked to some folks. He was wanting to still take free trips, Dana was 100% against (per his norm), and we parted ways. Sucks he landed in Syracuse, what a crappy hole, haha! Many had him as a FSU lock after we 'split up'. I wish when a kid committed that was it 'your word is your bond'. Same w/ the coaches...
Not 'pimping' anything here, but there's a place where you can get up to the second info on our Eers, but it cosrs 10 bucks a month and I refuse to name rhe site (bet you can guess). Vernon and Keno announce things as they happen, very fluid, and they're in the facilities almost all day.
