Cliffs-Stanford grad school is next to impossible to get into so everyone is grad transferring to get into a program that will accept them. Apparently everyone forgot they can pull a Matt Leinart if you're that closen to graduation. Even still, it's Stanford but I'm guessing a they could find room somewhere for a multi year starter.

They didn't graduate in 4 years.

And to be fair, some of it might be legitimate. When the grad transfer thing first started we lost a starting offensive lineman that got into law school in Houston. He's a proud OK State alum but he had an opportunity for a free year of law school and I think he made a pretty reasonable decision. So I could see some Stanford kids doing that, but not what amounts to almost an entire recruiting class.

I would argue it was his teams style of football and personnel as opposed to him that made Stanford successful. To each his own.
