I am not a fan nor am I annoyed by Tebow or the media reports on Tebow. But what does bug me is when a member of the media says something like "the media just won't stop with Tebow." I'm thinking, "you're part of the media, you can choose to stop reporting it yourself, too." It's like a smoker saying, "damn smokers" while he lights one up and complains about the smoke. True, one person stopping smoking is not going to get rid of smoking, but it would lessen what the person is proffessin' to be bad.

I was thrilled to hear that the Broncos were trading him so I wouldn't have to listen to this nonsense anymore (being in Albuquerque is a weird cross of living in Dallas and Denver with the media coverage those two teams get).

Then he got traded to the media capital of the world.

God dammit.

I wouldn't care so much if he could actually play. What bothers me is the media gloss that has been applied to his very subpar game.

I dont mind him using his status as a way to represent his faith. I do find that it is a bit too much when every other word is "humble" "God" or "blessed". I think more athletes should use their platforms in life to support worthy causes: (cancer, autism, etc.) I just think that Tebowmania is too much. I think that for all this hype he better do something big or the NY media is going to eat him alive.
