New sculpture unveiled in Downtown Brooklyn - Brooklyn Paper

From a fan perspective, is it in poor taste to use the likeness, even if it's just an arm, of a rivaled foe to build a sculpture?

Embiid personifies The Process, but wouldn't they have been better served by using a Brooklyn Net or an athlete that was born or has some connection to Brooklyn, even if it's just playing in NY?????

Why not use Willis Reed's arm? Or Ewing?

What's the ruling on this?

Why did they put 80% of the statue underground is my question?

Walking dead Embiid coming out of the ground?

I feel like Philly would erect a similar statue but with a different finger

I actually believe that to be immortalized in a sculpture is an honor and a compliment, and even more so in a city where the person was playing for your opponents.
