WSIS Week 5

[Robotech]

0.5 PPR

Who do I start as my FLEX between Diontae Johnson (vs. PHI), Tyler Boyd (at BAL), and Antonio Gibson (v. LAR)? I also have Lamb (v. NYG), but I'm worried that DAL gets a big lead early and doesn't have to throw a lot.

My starting WR's are ARob and Ridley. I'm kinda worried about Ridley after he scored 0 fantasy points last night, but if he has a clean bill of health, I'm starting him. He was listed as questionable all of last week because of an ankle and calf issue.

Also, what do you guys think about just dropping Matt Ryan and going to streaming QBs? He’s been awful so far. In an 8 team league I’d think I’d be able to play the game.

Depends on what's available. But if its 8 team, you should have some good options

I agree with the consensus...Gibson is versatile and seems very involved in the offense but I will say the QB change makes it a little interesting...but I still expect them to use him quite a bit.

Right now QBs on the wire include Rothlisberger, Minshew, Bridgewater, Garoppolo, Herbert, and Burrow. Really thinking of making the switch of Ryan for Big Ben. That matchup for Teddy against Atlanta looks enticing too.

@Robotech I see Mostert returned from practice. Do you think he will be limited next game?

I think so. Shanahan will ease him back in. I'm not starting him this week, but if you're willing to risk it, he can still give you a ton of points because of his big play ability. He's been clocked at 23 mph this year.

Yeah was thinking the same but my other option is Drake who has a favorable matchup but he hasn't been good so far this season.

I need a kicker. I dropped Crosby because he's on bye, but with Mostert coming back from IR, I need to drop another player. My cut candidates are Deebo, Murray, Burrow. Who would you cut? 0.5 PPR.

I own Kamara, so Murray is insurance. But since I also own Hunt, Mostert, and Gibson, maybe I don't need the insurance.

I am starting Herbert this week, so maybe I could cut Burrow. However, I did read yesterday that the Chargers haven't yet announced who would start between Herbert and Tyrod Taylor.

I can cut Deebo because I have Ridley, Arob, Boyd, Diontae Johnson, and Lamb ahead of him anyway.

Deebo came back last week. Only 6 fantasy points, but he should get better.

I'm thinking I have the RB depth to let go of Murray. Murray did have monster games last year when Kamara missed two games.

At the same time, I really don't need Deebo.

Burrow. Easily.
Don't cut Lat. He is insurance for a reason.

You have to look at QB as a weekly streaming venture (like DST) until you can free up a spot with a 2-1 trade (using Dionte and/or Lamb, or pair one with Mostert and aim high.

McLaurin has QB change (not so worried), and probably Ramsey (worried).
Boyd just bad matchup.
Gordon is a for sure, for me.
Drake is a coin flip with Boyd, for me.

M-A-C... pending Indy's injuries to multiple LBs... might go Hooper.
Smith probably not playing...
