3B Uribe

Ross 4, UUU 5 is interesting. Good that they dropped Pat to 7. Gamer on the field to celebrate his second WS victory?

Agreed on all counts. Bochy again pushing the right buttons.

Let's do what we talked about before game 1...be the old jumpy Giants. Look for pitches in the zone. Don't try to work the pitch count. Maybe Lee will try to adjust, but how can he change so completely?

Cmon Timmay, ingrain yourself even more into Giants lore tonight. Challenge, challenge, challenge. Do what got you to this point and don't worry about the smaller Texas yard. Your defensive lineup behind you is awesome. Use them! Like msg said, the first time through the lineup (at least) be aggressive.

Go Giants, that's about all I have to say.

Agree with this 100%. Lee is not like Sanchez. Probably closer to Halladay in approach. They both throw strikes and are around the plate consistently. If you get caught trying to work the pitch count you tend find yourself in 0-1, 1-2 counts rather quickly. Now you do chase anything that is remotely close.

This is the Giants superpower...as we showed in game 1. Let's hope Lee can't adjust.

Also, let's try not to panic or be fearful. The Giants are always doing that, panicking and showing fear in their eyes.

Hey holy crap this is almost exactly the lineup I wanted on the other board. So yeah I'm like awesome or something? :o I thought Huff would be in the 3-spot still but I'm ecstatic that Bochy kept Burrell off the field.

Yep. And choking. It's obvious to anyone who watches baseball and we don' need no stinkin' advanced metrics to prove it, either.

TZ, you have lost the privilege to start GDTs.

How can you not SPELL OUT WORLD SERIES???

Come one man, feel the importance of the situation...

Wow. Tough board.

Can I redeem by pointing out that we've left Rosstober and are in Novembeard?

Lee was quoted as saying he got too much of the plate in game one. FP, before game one, said one of Lee's best attributes is that he never pitches you the same way twice...... Maybe he'll pull a Brad Penny and serve up slop on hitters counts, hoping the Giants will chase.

If he's that good, and we don't adjust to his adjustment, he deserves a win and you gotta tip your cap. Hope our guys and coaches can handle it.

lol, apparently if you ask Baseball "Experts", Cliff Lee is related to Chuck Norris. Cliff Lee doesn't struggle, he lets you succeed.

Then it sounds like you have a tv, radio, or computer that comes with espn, espn2, espn3, fox sports, Rob "I get pubes in my mouth from all the balls I lick" Neyer, or the mlb network.

This is the toughest game to win. The Rangers season is on the line and they will fight to the last pitch. Just 1 more win, boys. Bring it home.

Agreed. On paper this feels like a loss...even the Yankees managed to win game 5 at home to the Rangers. They got a very good pitcher on the mound, at home, backs to the wall. You can't help but think our guys might let up a smidge.

OK with that pantshatting out of the way, let's say the Giants have always done what you don't expect. So we'll win today 10-8.
