When Spieth hit his 2nd shot on the 18th I thought for sure it was only going to be a two man play-off but once against the kid pulled it off

Good thing that it was Wagner who choked on that final putt. Can you imagine all of the negative feedback if the person who did that was named Mickelson, Garcia or Woods (who likely wouldn't even be close to the top in any tourney at this time)?

Tiger is pretty much dead in the water, but Phil at least is showing some signs of a game. A for sure sign that you're at the end is when you can no longer finish a tournament. Ernie fluked one, and Harrington got a gift recently so you never know if you can get in contention.

Phil still was hitting the ball a very long way and hasn't lost a step in that department but didn't seem to have that "closer" mentality like he used to
