Steve Spurrier is 73 and I'd take him immediately.

He must never get any pussy or have any fun to be a FBS level coach for this long.

Poor old fella. Someone should take him to the booger bar and stick a roll of 5's in his hand.

I truly think the reason he continues to hold on there is because the KSU administration isn’t willing to give the job to his son. He has been pretty outspoken about that one.
Yea been down that path before as a VT fan.

when Bill does leave finally, that program will immediately go back to garbage ... he is the only guy that has been able to win there over the last 80 years.

That program was epically bad from WW2 until Snyder took over in 1989.

It's the wrong question as far as I'm concerned.

Y’all didn’t want Shane??
Not yet at least. He is a decent recruiter but he had done nothing to prove at his prior stops to VT that he was ready for a full time HC position. The fact he is getting great experience at OU though has my interest piqued a bit tho...

One question for when Snyder retires.... Does Kansas get better??

Snyder hasn't coached Kansas State for only 3 years since 1989 but those 3 years were some of the best Kansas football has seen in a long time

2006 was fine, Kansas went 6-6 which is still better than any record they've had in the past decade, plus these days they would have made a bowl
2007 Kansas went 12-1 and won the Orange Bowl
2008 Kansas went 8-5 and won the Insight Bowl

Snyder came back in the 2009 season and Kansas hasn't been back to a bowl since he returned
