All good choices. I didn't add Army because of how much college football and the money has changed. If we're talking Army, we might as well go back to Harvard, Princeton and Yale. Texas A&M, Georgia, Michigan St. and Penn St. have stayed somewhat relevant in the college football landscape. All good choices though.

I tried to explain to the poster from ND, but he must have misread my first response
and then doubled-down on lack of understanding.

When asked for a time frame...The OP stated..."Post WWII/AP Poll."
I'm just using the teams within that time frame (1936-Present). It is his thread.
