Awhile ago there was a discussion about re grading past draft class now that time has passed. Got me wondering what was the worst draft class ever.
Has to be the 2007 Bucs draft class. If there is any class worse then this, I find that impossible to believe.

1. Gaines Adams - Was a Huge Bust before he Died.
2. Aaron Sears - Was OK till he went Insane.
2. Sabby Piscitelli - Worst Safety in Franchise History
3. Quincy Black - Finally showing something till he broke his Neck.
4. Tanard Jackson - Good Player, Better Drug Addict
5. Greg Peterson - Played 2 season as Back Up, 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks
6. Adam Hayward - Good Special Team player
7. Chris Denman - Was on IR then Cut
7. Marcus Hamilton - Cut Before Season, picked up Sept 19th, Played on 21st Cut Sept 22nd
7. Kenneth Darby - Cut before Season

The ONLY player still playing is Adam Hayward as a back up LB and special teams player. Just look at those first 5 picks
1. Dead
2. Insane
3. Worst S in History
4. Broken Neck
5. Drug Addict

Can any draft class come close to this Horiblness?

Haha yaa that wasnt the best draft class at all but at least its in the past and guys are recovering fine from that. The Bears up until this year were still hurting from Jerry Angelos picks that were idiotic and made no sense. Angelo brought us in some very good players but he did not know how to draft to make the team better, just only knew how to draft to make Lovie Smith happy. He drafted defense for Lovie and failed so many times to bolster the offense for us.

Ya we have drafted well the last 4 years. Bad Drafts just kill teams, especially when they in consecutive years. But one thing about the Bears, that seemed to be their MO though. They never really built through the draft but through trades for vets and vet FAs. And it worked for the most part. You guys have been one of the better more consistent teams for awhile.

Ouch man. That's a doozy.

Here's a pretty bad one - Arizona Cardinals 2002:

1 (12th) Wendel Bryant
2 (49) LeVar Fisher
3. Josh McCown
3a. Dennis Johnson
4. Nate Dwyer
5. Jason McAddley
6. Josh Scobey
7. Mike Banks

Not a single player on that list did anything in the NFL worth mentioning.

I was gonna say the 2002 49ers, but at least they found Eric Heitman & Kyle Koiser in the 7th round.

Bills 05 Class, 02 Class, and 2000 I think can Compete in the worst draft of all time competition.

I would say we built our main core defensive through the draft for sure but everything else has come from FA. They "attempted" to gain talent through the draft on the offensive side of the ball but the whole NFL knows how that has turned out. Bucs and Rams are going to come up and start shocking the league in the very near future.

The 2008 Jaguars class was pretty bad:

1. (8) Derrick Harvey
2. (52) Quentin Groves
5. Thomas Williams
5a. Trae Williams (no relation)
7. Chauncey Washington

Of course, they had fewer picks to screw up.

1999. Saints trade all draft picks for Ricky Williams. Worst draft IMO.

Ricky Williams has done more than I think every player in every draft class listed so far. Like he was a drug addict and insane but he still played and ran well.

Trading all picks for one player is insane. He did better after but what team would trade all picks for one player in today's time? The team went 3-13 and Ditka was shown the door. Again ,JMO on a bad draft.

I agree with you on that point. Even if they only had 3 other picks they could have had a lot more.

And I get your point about overall players who never came to be anything from one draft for a team. There has been some bad ones as I can see.

Whats everyones thoughts on Best and Worst draft class of the 2013 draft?

I think the Rams had a fantastic draft class this year and The Cowboys had one of the worst.

The problem I would have for debating that would be that we don't really know how these players will do. Some maybe busts while others will surprise everyone.
