Packers of course. They are America's Team:behindsofa:

I'm noticing that a lot of people don't want to see the Packers win. Other than the Niners, the Packers are one of the first teams that come to mind when I think of football. Images of Lombardi, the frozen tundra, Bart Starr, Paul Hornung pop up in my mind. All those greats were before my time, but I've been reading books about sports and watching NFL Films since I was a kid.

And if past history is any matter, they end up sitting beside me and asking lots of stupid questions and get more jazzed about the halftime show than the actual game.

And the commercials too, I bet.

I certainly can appreciate the Packers' history and significance. I am honestly a casual at best NFL fan, so I really don't have a team. I grew up watching those great 49er teams of the 80's and 90's

This time of year is always a little bittersweet. I have to make the annual speech to @broncosmitty that "no, the Lions will not win the SB this year, because they are the northern version of the Cleveland Browns and you are pretty pathetic to even support them"

Ah yes, the glory days. The Niners were so great when I was a kid that it almost feels like anything else they do is gravy. I think that was the second greatest run of success in NFL history, as it's been eclipsed by the Pats.

Roger Craig was my favorite player. I still think he is the most underrated player of the modern area.

It's that while the Packers organization is almost as illustrious as the Steelers organization, unlike Steeler fans, Packer fans suck fetid hyena dick.

Should be in the Hall of Fame. I can't believe he isn't. First player to have 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season. The memorable high knees. The sprinter speed. Also played full back. He did it all and was a gigantic part of the Niners' success.

If he doesn't get in this year I am burning that place down

You sir, are NOT the father of the potato salad poll option. That is hallowed ground.

Explain yourself post haste
I invented the option of using "Potato Salad" as a poll option on CBS back around 2008 or so. It caught on big there, and when people came here, they brought it with them. I did not come here directly, and after immediately being banned by Hummerclown after like 10 posts, didn't make it back until recently. Yes, I invented it. You're welcome.

By the way, did you know I invented the forward pass AND instant replay? You are welcome

I don't care if you disbelieve me. It's still true. The people who were there know.
