Game Thread: Wisconsin week/game thread

Turning the page from that debacle, time to move on to Wisky at home. Fortunately for us, Wisky is not the team anyone thought they would be this year and their QB got dinged again yesterday. Win this and we likely end up 9-3 heading into bowl with chance to win 10 games 3 seasons in a row for first time since 1982.

I think we'll have a boulder on our shoulder and be able to pull off the win. Unfortunately I think we'll end up in a mismatch for our bowl and can't say I anticipate 10 wins.

I could see us playing a very average Kentucky team in Outback or Citrus and getting the dub. Also have a long rest period for Trace to get healthy between end of season and bowl

Who cares anymore? I am thoroughly embarrassed to call myself a fan after the last couple losses.

College football isn't fun anymore because you never know what team you have, unless you like Alabama...Lol

Any other team can lose on any given day because the kids are so unfocused and inconsistent.

Every time Franklin has Stevens and McSorley in there it is a running play for McSorley

Is it just me? I can't remember any other play besides McSorley trying to run up the middle and invariably gets stopped for no gain or 1-2 yard loss

Ugly, ugly game. Seems like the staff has Polk glued to the bench now, which is a positive development. Hopefully this game is the last straw for Farmer as well. YGM is an absolute monster, I think he's easily the best player on the defense. Should be in line for first team all B10 this year, I don't think there's another DE that's playing as well as he is right now.

Also, this rotating door at QB crap needs to end. It does nothing but hurt the offense.

Good workman like Big 10 win. Taylor popped one early but otherwise the D did a great job. Offense did enough to get the win on the road.

Defense played an outstanding game after that first drive where Taylor popped the big TD. Koa was phased out and Micah played a ton after that initial score, DL was VERY, VERY good all day and secondary did their job on an uneventful afternoon for them.

On O, I think Rahne called a very good game and we actually executed the plan most of day. I loved the throwback to Friermuth in the redzone, establishing Miles and sticking with him, Polk seeing very little time and the 2 TE sets with Friermuth and Bowers.

Should be staring down a 9-3 season with a chance at 10 in the bowl. That was my floor for this team, but very encouraged going forward. This defense will be NASTY next year and Tommy getting some valuable menaingful snaps will only help. He'll have a much more reliable corps of WR than Trace had this year as well.

Not a bad win and we are now 7-3. Couldn't make the contest because of way too many errands. Next week.
