Wisconsin looks like they have a great QB. It was only Illinois, but still impressive. He managed the game very well in the last half of the game.

Do you think he'll keep his job when Coan comes back from injury?

Has anyone found out what happened to Coan, Only thing I see is he injured his foot and had surgery but cannot see what the specific injury is.

The only thing I have seen is his return time is listed as unknown

While the nature of Coan’s injury and when, or if, he’ll play in 2020 are still unknown, Coan’s dedication to the team remains. He’s been known as a strong leader for the Wisconsin program and days after perhaps his most trying moment as a Badger, he’s proving his reputation.

Mertz should be the starter. Coan is a leader but lacks the talent of Mertz.

He played well. Very well.....

HOWEVER...

It could be Illinois is that bad. I need a bigger sample size before I start drooling over him.

He had a nice start but I need more
I'm already convinced. The kid was heavily recruited coming out of high school.

I still don't understand the B10's 21 day rule with COVID.

From what I read if his second test is positive he will miss the next 3 games including the michigan game and their season is over. I think the 21 days starts the day of the second positive test

It's a TERRIBLE rule IMO. What is the justification of 21 days? I don't think any sport follows that big of a quarantine.

Plus he has to have some heart doctor make sure eveything is ok. But I think they had to go 21 days to get these University Presidents to go along with the deal to start football again would be my guess

He was a 4 star...And? That is awful reasoning, there have been a ton of players "highly recruited" and they turned out to be okay or trash. Shea Patterson is a perfect example, he was decent--didn't live up to the hype and went undrafted.
