I'm always on the fence about this but lean towards the kid keeping his ace on the team until there is a conviction.
If the school has evidence that could be a violation of a conduct policy that's different but he said she said should not be enough if just that.

That being said — it sounds as if the police and DA did a 3 month investigation into the validity of the charges and they are still going thru with them. So it could be bad news for the Wiscy player.
