I'll pick Tiafoe to win the quarter, even though he hasn't given me any reason to pick him.

However, it's idiotic to have it when not all former champions were allowed back. Sharapova was missing, and that makes it less special, that someone who might have wanted to be there, wasn't.

Others were also missing, like Serena, Navratilova (Covid), Graf, Agassi, Barty, Connors, Becker, Virginia Wade, Goolagong, Davenport, Muguruza, Edberg, Krajicek, Stich, Emerson, Mauresmo, Newcombe.

Wimbledon is always so hard to predict. I thought Swiatek and Djoker easy too. Now neither may end up winning.

Rybakina was adorable in her speech though. Kazakhstan must be celebrating.

Sure thought his wheels would fly off after that 2nd set game point after being up 40-0 and then yakking it away.

But he seems to have gotten his shit back together “so far” in the 3rd.

Don’t know if he can figure out how to stop listening to that voice inside his head but if he does he has all the tools to win a few majors. Djokovic was just a little bit better because of that today.
