That game sort of typified what a great situation he plays in.

He can throw 4 interceptions in a game and still win.

Last year Luck threw 4 picks on the road in the po's and his team lost by 21 points.

It's Brady and Manning all over agin.

Tom Brady is 2-1 when he throws 3 or more picks in a postseason game. Or the fact that Brady has a winning record in the postseason when throwing more picks than td's.

Or how Tom Brady is 4-0 when he doesn't throw a td in a po game.

Brady and Wilson have high margins of error. Manning and Luck do not.

You can throw Rodgers in that mix as well.

How does a qb have a 23-7 td/int ratio with 3 rushing td's and never scoring less than 20 point in postseason game only be 6-5 in the postseason?

You do realize that Brady has more TDs and less int than Manning in the playoffs, and you do realize that Manning has gone 9 1 and done and mainly as a 1 or #2 seed. So that means he is playing to a lower competition and losing, As Brady goes deeper in the playoffs or SB, the competition is harder, Brady threw 3 tds's today and 4 last week. He beats Manning head to head 11-5. Your guy has choked in a lot of playoff games, or SB's 4 TO's in last years SB, Bad throw vs Balt the year before, Pick six to Porter vd NO etc etc. You cant be a 1or 2 seed and exit in the first round sorry.

Everyone always throws around the word choke and yet they can only give up two games in Peyton's career where he choked. The super bowl in 09 and the loss to the ravens where his defense completely gave the game away. 2 po games is hardly a lot.

Is it choking that Peyton has lost more games after leading in the 4th quarter than anyone in history. Or that no quarterback has lost more playoff games without throwing a pick than anyone in history.

Peyton isn't a great postseason quarterback by any means but he isn't bad and most of the time is actually very good just like Brady. But qb has had a myriad of things go his way while one hasn't.

And i'm not saying Brady and Wilson aren't great because they are. But people should actually do some in depth analysis and research before labeling players "chokers" or "gods" in the postseason.

Context is everything.

Nobody cared about analyses or sound logic. Folks just wanna be like, "he's got rings!" They especially lean on that argument if they have a bias, or an agenda.

Seattle's D is more deserving on the win last night than Wilson. Dude had a 0 QBR in the first half. Sure he made the winning TD throw but I am giving about 95% of the credit to the D, 4% to GB screwing it up... and 1% on Wilson.

With that said, I do think he has talent but gets saved a lot because of his defense. Now watch him torch the Patriots during the Super Bowl

In depth, like the fact that this was only second playoff game in which Wilson had even thrown a pick? It's hard to give a lot of credance to this happening often in someone's career when it's happened once. Besides, Manning is 1-1 in his career when he's thrown 3 or more picks, Brady 2-1, Wilson 1-0. It just isn't anything that happens often.

Yes, I will agree that the defense had a large part in that win. Without them playing a great game, the offense doesn't even have a chance to make those plays in the 4th and overtime. Hell, they held the Packers to 75 yards fewer than their season average and their 3rd lowest total of the season - despite giving the Packers the ball within field goal range 3 times, they gave up only 22 point. I mean, the Packers had the ball 19 of the first 23 minutes....and the defense still played strong. But, if Lynch doesn't Beast Mode it, and Wilson doesn't complete those big plays late, then that defensive effort mean nothing. I'd say that the defense should get 65% of the credit for this win, special teams 10% (they did get the first TD, but also fumbled it at their own 23 while allowing a couple big PR) and the offense 25%.

1% is being WAY too generous.

There has never been a less deserving QB to make the trip to the SB than Wilson after yesterday's performance. He was as bad as you can possibly be.

The only thing more disappointing than Wilson's performance is the fact that the NFL is so water-downed and poor right now that a QB can have that type of performance and still make the trip to the SB because the team opposite him is almost just as bad.

Except that two of the interceptions were perfect throws to an undrafted receiver who tipped it straight up to the defense. Or that Wilson was hit 9 times on 29 throws, and was pressured on more than half of his throws. Funny how the people who want to discredit Wilson because of his defense don't give him any credit for his subpar OL or WR.

Do you really think Wilson has four picks yesterday with Peyton's supporting cast? Or with Luck's WRs?

For a guy who wants to say "context is everything," you sure don't give a shit about context.

Yeah, Wilson is the ONLY QB that has to throw to non-probowl WR's or that has tipped passes go against him.

We can go back to college if you like. The Vols made Tampa their winter home after Florida made Manning their Bitch.

I like Manning he is a great QB but if he has one flaw it is how he hasn't showed up in playoff type games. This year may be the exception as Manning was injured but as a career you can't look at Manning's playoff record and not be disappointed as a Manning fan.

And? Every QB gets blamed for those INT's. Right in their hands and they pop up and get picked. I've heard every excuse to make those Romo's fault...threw it too hard, didn't put it in the right spot, threw the wrong timing.

RW does it and you guys claim they aren't his fault.

Deion Sanders called out Seattle's WR's and he was right. They are #3 and #4's on most teams. Same was said with Brady's teams in past with expection of Moss for a few years. Thank goodness a great TE in Gronk when healthy.

I wouldn't say it's Romo's fault if the ball is right to the guy... It's the old saying, if you can get your hands on it, you should catch it... The weather was a bit of a factor obviously, ball was slick... but Kearse was just pooching it, and he knows it...
