Imagine how much better he will play when fully healthy? Now that Scherff is here and Moses and Long have some experience the line can, actually, be a strength of the team.

Excerpt

Williams was still bothered by the ankle injury that plagued him at the end of last season, and prevented him from playing in the Pro Bowl. He tore the deltoid ligament in his left ankle, but it did not require surgery, just rehabilitation.

He said at one point he was concerned the ankle might not be 100 percent again. But after visiting Dr. Robert Anderson, a foot specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina, Williams was relieved.

"It's encouraging that we got the right plan intact, it helped me get back on the field a little quicker," said Williams, who was bothered by a sore wrist at the start of camp last year. "There's no point in risking it now. Training camp is the most vital thing I need to be ready for."

Give it another year or two. I think the OL could be really strong. Could be the difference in a .500 team and a playoff team.

Because they have been so bad nobody seems to remember how this OL has be virtually injury free for the past 3 seasons. That scares the crap out of me, it's bound to change eventually. We need depth and that's why a guy like Moses is so important.

Reports of this injury are a bit troubling, remember he missed the pro-bowl because of it. That means whatever it is, it's taking a fairly long time to heal. He's being told that it should heal by TC. He hurt it during the season which ended on December 20th 2014 and hasn't healed in the 5 months since. Best spin on this one.....Williams is not particularly fond of OTA's and has figured out a way to skip the grind. Worse case, he's a notoriously slow healer or we are not getting the real deal. Either way we all know that this guy will be lined up game one, question is will he be 100%?

FWIW: According to Chris Russell of ESPN 980, the Redskins might actually let Trent to become a FA in 2016. Can't imagine that happening and Russell tends to make things up.
