Fitz was the right move. If we get Samuel and anther Wr plus a Te the offense should improve. The defense will need another Cb and 2 Lb's. Plus a free safety.
Fitz will improve our offense from last season...period.
If we get Samuel, our offense will improve from last season...period.
If we get another WR, and he is better than what we had last season, our offense will improve from last season...period.
If we get another TE, and he is a better option. Our offense will improve from last season...period.
We don’t need mass upgrades and huge production from any offensive position to upgrade from last season. Our QBs were total shit.
As for defense, it will be better if the health is the same or better than last season...period.
They will all have more experience, and considering their youth, every one of them should improve because they all have good work ethic. Our corners were solid last season but a lot of that had to do with the front, and I cannot leave out kudos to the one backfield player that was actually very good, Karen Curl. I am not sure if our LBs can possibly be worse than they have been.
I agree. I just think Darby is a huge loss. Lets see who they replace him with.
Well, according to PFF, Darby was the 8th most targeted corner in football, allowing the 23rd most receptions, and the 32nd most tackles.
So, if all teams have a single #1 corner, Darby was near the bottom of all #1s, while amassing a whopping 0 interceptions, while having one of the best DLs in all of football.
Gotta let FA and draft playout before I could answer that.
We have a first place schedule so it will be hard . But with a good draft and good health we have a punchers chanceThis was on Twitter.
The claim is this. The stats of all Skins QBs who started the last 16 games VS Ryan Fitzpatrick over his last 16 stats. And maybe whoever did this simply didn't count the att of Skins QBs who came in to replace Skins starting who were injured - Alex Smith taking over for Kyle Allen in the Rams n Gianrs games as two examples.. Here we go.
Skins starting QBs for their last 16 starts n Fitz in his last 16 starts are said to have att the exact same number of passes, 559 pass attempts. I added in the ypa for each as the post with the stats didn't account for that.
Skins starting QBs last 16 games
37680 yards
6.7 ypa
16 TDs
16 INTs
64.7% comp %
Fitz last 16 starts
4114 yards
7.3 ypa
27 TDs
13 INTs
65.2% comp %
I'll say Fitz starting for the 2021 Skins leads them to 10-6/11-5.
If he could only limit his TO rate. This was on Twitter.

Word. Through another way to look it could be. The last years 3 Skins QBs have tossed 16 TDs/16 INTs in 2020, 18 TDs/13 INTs in 2019, 16 TDs/15 INTs in 2018. Compared to those #s a 2 TD/1 INT ratio would be a significant improvement. If he could only limit his TO rate.
