I doubt Dabo Swinney would leave Clemson for Alabama at this point. He could coach another 10-15 years and then hit the broadcast booth. Wouldn't even matter what his records are during that time, he's already earned himself legend status over the past 4-5 seasons.

Saban's assistants don't hang around long enough to be coaches in waiting. Kirby would have been a candidate, but he took the UGA job, and I doubt he'd leave it.

as long as UGA feeds Kirby his daily dose of pedigree and consistently fills his bowl with water, UGA should be safe from anyone poaching him
