SMGM is going to bring in one year rentals, and draft like heck.

We over achieved some what last year. We will likely level out this year, and hopefully improve next year.

Relax, visit Denver, smoke a bowl... and realize that its a marathon, not a sprint.

^what he said. Consider this past year a gift. We got the best gm in the NFL, a franchise QB, a HC who is above average, top offensive line coach in league, and an offensive scheme which is competent/efficient and puts up points.

Additionally, we found 7 new starters: Scherff, Moses, Kirk, Preston Smith, Compton, Foster, Kicker and 4 new solid depth players: Jarrett, Dunbar, Jones, Crowder.

The future looks bright. Just don't be inpatient, patience is a virtue.

These players added to the already 7 core starters of Kerrigan, Williams, Breeland, Reed, D.Jax, Baker, and Garçon. We are spoiled and don't even know it yet.

Thank goodness we have a gm who is looking to add 10 more rookies/ufda

Hayward was never a full time starter in GB so is he actually worth starter pay? I agree, five mil per season is fair but I don't know if we need him at that rate.

Vikings re-signed CB Terence Newman to a one-year, $3 million contract. So lets say we gave Blackmon this type of deal isn't Hayward worth 2mil more at his age?

Perhaps no. Hayward was also a multi year deal at 5 mil each. So it is actually 6 mil more.
