It's in my head, and it's really good to me. Maybe it was the guitars (but that's her style). This was 1989 btw, one of the biggest years in music. The penultimate years had that build-up to the next decade.

She's performing at my school's PAC next month. Or maybe not now. I wanted to get involved and introduce her on stage (as a student senator) because I'm probably the only student who remembered Sunny Came Home. So I started looking into some of her songs on YT.

Her only hit was during a female-empowerment period known as Lillith Fair. The one who came out smelling like a rose was Jewel for maybe a couple of years (Alanis would take back her place).
