What gives?

Why was he not used at the goaline? Dudes a beast! Not Derrick Henry beastly but still. He can muster into the endzone from the 1!

Ask Skippy... Michel has no business being on the field in short yardage situations. He's not a very stout runner and goes down far too easily. Of all the running backs, Rex has the most pop and he even got stuffed.

F*CK if I know. Why did McDaniels call practically the same play 3 times?? Wouldn't you try at least one quick outlet pass? Shovel pass to Harry or Edelman or White? Yeah. Why not try Bolden? Don't know.

Piss poor play calling.

Should have clarified... I was talking about all season and not just Saturday

Actually, yes. I also thought Bolden was a better short yardage runner too...

Damian Harris is the best short yardage runner on the team. The couple of times he played, he was unstoppable.

I think that sometimes coaches get the "Catch 22 Syndrome". IF I try a guy and he excels, I look bad for not starting him earlier and I appear not to know what I'm doing. Of course if the starter doesn't excel, it doesn't come back on me for playing him, it comes back on him for not being able to do the job. Believe me, I've seen it a thousand times in my forty years of coaching football.

We learned this year that Sony Michele does not have outside speed. He also does not have great vision. If the OL opens a huge hole then he's great and can get upfield, but cannot outrun the DBs.

I guarantee that he will be the starter in 2021. Harris will move up and take Burkhead's spot, Devlin and Johnson will be back and Devlin might not be here in his mid-30s.

@BigKen the barely used Harris. I don't buy the whole, "he was injured" bs either. He needed to play more just like Bolden

Sometimes they just get too committed to one thing.

Notice when Bolden came in, how productive he was? That ended faster than that you could blink.

Same with Harris. He was inactive but never on the Injury Report.

Let's just be honest.......Coaches' Decision.

He somehow got in BB's doghouse for some reason

Yeah I had high hopes for him as well. Seemed to be the bruiser back we've needed for a while. Another Bellichick mystery
