Why do we have to have 2 bye weeks so soon?

I know it may not be "so soon" but man it sure does feel like it. This season has just been weird with the scheduling, bye week after Louisville and we have yet another one before Michigan. I understand its a good decision to have one before Michigan but man sure just feels different.

I think this one was well timed between USC and Michigan. Plus it coincides with fall break for the students.

the first one was a little more suspect. I see it being helpful with the short week but it’s not like they needed to worry about New Mexico.

I'm still a little surprised we didn't have one before the Georgia game instead, it would have been too close to the one we are at now after USC I'm sure.

I think the fist one was scheduled because it was following a Monday night game. And even though New Mexico wasn’t expected to be tough, you have to worry about injuries when you play two games 5 days apart. I like this bye week because it will give Armstrong another two weeks to mend before Michigan.

I"m still irritated about the the third quarter play calling on offense.

im still irritated that Michael Young dropped the ball on what should have been a 100 yard kickoff return to start the second half. A 24-3 lead could have been demoralizing for SC. Instead it became a reasonably close game.

yes but I was talking about the third quarter play calling against Georgia that resulted in three and outs or turnovers which killed the defense.

sorry, but I have erased the second half of the Georgia game from my memory. (Or at least I’m trying to)
