Why do teams stay in Conferences that they have no hope of winning?

Wait so being born in Eugene and my dad went to Oregon but I went to a NAIA school that has no football, that was the only one in the country that offered a Bachelors level degree in my field when i went there, even though i have gone to Oregon football basketball, womens basketball, softball baseball soccer games and track meets I am not a real fan because I didnt go to Oregon?
Wish i would have known sooner so i could have saved money instead of following the team to Purdue, Tennessee, Nebraska, the Rose Bowl and up and down the west coast to other places.

I'll allow you a one time exception to be a real Oregon fan due to your 1st kin (Dad in this case) being an Oregon alumni and because you go to actual games.

Warning though. You can never ever change teams.

So what exactly has UCF won? Shit conference championships? Who gives a shit lol.
They have zero shot at winning a CFP Championship game and no shot at making a CFP because their schedule is so bad.
While other teams are making 7x the amount of money and actually competing against the best competition in a top conference to at least earn their right to at the ultimate prize UCF are beating bottom feeders.

UCF started D1 in 1996. It took us only 10 years to Win big time vs teams who a 100 year head start.

Compare that to the FL Old 3. It took each of them 60-80 years of constant losing before they did anything.

This is a major reason why UCF will Dominant college athletics

FSU became a school in 1947 and went to it's first bowl game in 1949.

UCF didn't make a bowl game until 2005. 27 years from the start, 10 years from the start of Div1.

Because they don't want to play in pussy conferences like the AAC. They play in men's conferences and not boy's conferences.
