he hasn't been charged right ?
Wasn't the accusation made a lot sooner this time around? Like the day of it...

There was a 911 call made in the Winston case the very next day.
But he wasn't identified until like a month or 2 later.
no difference in circumstances however. Once he was identified and there was an open investigation he was still allowed to play.
No he wasn't. He was identified in the fucking off season. How the fuck can he play in the off season. As far as Jimbo was concerned the investigation had ceased and was over until it sprung back up during the football season. These are 2 totally different circumstances.

You just said it sprung back up during the season. At that point its the same circumstance.
I thought he was identified before the NC?
At that point it was an investigation on how it was handled by police.
Edit: I know that wasn't all that was investigated, but that's what really happened.
Regardless, I don't believe a person should be suspended unless they are brought up on charges are you know they are going to be brought up on charges.
Maybe UF has a different rule OR the UF president does not want a PR disaster like FSU put itself in. You know learning from other's mistakes.
.
This would be my guess. What school wants to go through that? I don't think FSU realized it was going to get that ugly.
