You can get twisted corn if you plant too early. The "leaves", well, they stay all twisted.

Nope only the Rams had a design on their helmets before 1959. (Can't remember when the Colts added their "Horseshoe") Giants and Browns had
their numbers but that was it. The AFL began the tradition of putting a design on the helmet
for all teams. That and their names on their jerseys. Redsking used a couple of different one's
that may have started in 1960. They used a Spear, similar to FSU and then had a Feather
painted on the back of their helmet. I thought that was original as hell, but It only lasted
one or two years.
