Geno. You take him off that line I'd bet everything I own MJ doesn't ever sniff 11.5 sacks.

Using that logic, Dandy would be out of the league coaching HS ball already, if you took AJ off the WR corps.

But I agree with Geno.

AJ Green, Without Green on this team we are not a playoff team PERIOD. Green changes the whole offense and is shaping in to be the best WR in football.

That defense runs through Geno. Everything is predicated off of his penetration and the doubles thrown his way. Green is a top 3 WR in the league but ask Arizona and Detroit where having the other top WRs has gotten them.

This is actually a difficult question. AJ is probably the better player but Geno is a rarer commodity and does something slightly more important. I think if there was a fantasy draft, most GMs would pick Geno.

If AJ Green wasn't on this team last few season the Bengals would have scored a total of 50 points a season. They are that freaking bad.

Good question. Tough to answer.

I think Geno is one of the best defenders in the league and at this point is the best player on the team. BUT....

Isn't it hard to evaluate AJ? Geno isn't dependent upon a qb to help him out - He can be a disruptive force no matter who lines up next to him. AJ's game is completely predicated on qbs that can throw to him. Even Jerry Rice wouldn't have had the same career if he didn't have Joe Montana and Steve Young throwing to him.

Green is probably the better player or at least more talented player, but if I have to pick which I'd rather have on my team it's Geno every time.

It's really difficult to compare great players at different positions.

but if both were ready to leave the team in the same offseason, I'd use the franchise tag to keep AJ. in the right offense with the right QB, I think he can score 20 TDs. That's a big impact

maybe I'm a homer, but I think they both have legitimate HOF potential

That is the problem, this isn't the team for AJ to score 20 TDs so why keep him over the player that absolutely makes your defense run.

AJ. They're both elite but AJ has HOF ability.

It is amazing how dominant both players can be, but I will go with geno just because I remember andy and the offense putting up good numbers in B-more the game AJ missed in 2012.

he's 24. it's not as though this is one or two season proposition. he's probably a good three yrs from reaching his true prime. just because it's not the team for AJ Green to reach his full potential at the moment, doesn't mean it won't be at any point.

Geno's great. I just wouldn't give up a weapon like AJ Green for him

Dalton threw for a bunch of yds, but that was the second lowest passer rating he had in a single game that season. his third and fourth worst games as a rookie were when AJ left early in the 1st half (pittsburgh and stl)

How many sacks you think that line gets if we start Still instead of AJ? I bet Johnson doesn't get more than 7. We wouldn't get the pressure, which would cause our bad DB's to get burnt more than they do now. I bet you take Geno off that defense it might not be a top 15 D.

Impossible to give a correct answer. That said, give me AJ. We're really fortunate to have a transcendent player at two positions.

Let's just hope to hell we never have to find out which one was most important to this team, because both should be here most, if not all their careers.
