I would prefer TB. Their secondary is beat up and Lattimore versus Evans.
Hopefully. They have a sordid history. It’s a good match up.

I don’t count on Lattimore being available, he hasn’t proven he can be

I know we are a different team now but in the opener we didn't look like we belonged on the same field as the Bucs. I'm a Stafford fan but he does not pose the running ability that Baker does and he did a lot of damage by avoiding our pass rush and making plays.

I prefer the Rams to Philly but who is going to cover Kupp and Nacua and stop Kyren Williams?

it literally will be the falcons game, Kupp is hurt or something is wrong with him.
so stop Kyren in the 2nd half, and let Nacua go crazy....no crappy ref calls and we pick up a corner off the street.
We win

Sainristil would have his hands full with Kupp n Kupp would literally school every other CB the Skins have. Excluding a healthy Lattimore.....I think.

And the Rams have more than just Puka n Kupp. They have a kid named Atwell, who might be the smallest player in the NFL right now, he's tough though. And a kid named Robinson who's only caught 28 passes, but 7 have went for TDs. Both r legit deep threats as is Puka.

G is hatin on another RB I see n Williams ability to bust a big run hasn't been there of late, but he's a good RB who runs hard, always seems to fall forward n has a nose for the end zone. He can catch out the backfired. And remember we're talking about the Skins run defense. A decent RB with a good OL can do thangs against them.

Their defense can play as well. Their DL is young n hungry, kinda what the Skins DL was supposed to be when the had 4 #1 picks playing together. Their LBs n secondary are better than average.

Thr Rams can play ball. Their offense has been sputtering lately though. I'm wondering if Stafford is hurt. He's been a Redskins killer of late, so.......

The last time the two teams met the Rams were ass paddling the Skins. Till Jacoby replaced Howell n made the score look respectable.

All that said. For whatever reason the Skins have usually matched up well with the Rams. Even back in the days of Warner n Faulk. They are 1 of 8 or 9 teams in the NFL the Skins have a winning record against in head go head games.

I don't think it's make a whole lotta difference who the Skins play. Whoever it is. The Skins will need JD to play well for them to have a chance to win. If he doesn't they'll get knocked out in the knockout round. If he does. The Skins might just win their first playoff game in what? 20 years.

If Lattimore plays, then the skins can use him on puka and put mike on kupp, who is not as explosive or decisive in his cuts as he was pre injury.

If lattimore doesnt play, then they need to blitz stafford heavily, get to him, and crowd the line of scrimmage.

Kyren williams is an average nfl back. He’s not bad or good. He is unquestionably worse than bijan robinson and algier.

The rams offensive line is also not as good as the falcons line is. Doesnt matter much considering Stafford is behind center and recognizes everything.

The rams have only three quality wins against good teams: SF in week 3, the Vikings in week 8, and buffalo in week 14.

In their current 5 game win streak they beat the Bills (impressive), but also the cardinals, jets, niners, and saints. To beat the Bills they scored 44. Their next highest point total against the other four inferior teams was 21. They havent scores 20 points in a month.

The Rams are who we want to play next, unquestionably. They are led by one stand out player - Nacua - that if Lattimore plays, can be minimized.
