I'll go with Mosart, but only because I've never listened to any of Michel's symphonies.

The pats have

Sony Michel-1st round pick
Damien Harris-3rd round pick

Still have james white in his role
Burkhead,

bolden and devlin have their roles

where does ANOTHER RB. fit in

At least Sony has a defined role with the 9ers bcks they can put up 25 fantasy points one week then be a healthy scratch the next.

Admittedingly, I've only watched the first one (vs FSU) thus far, and I definitely do see a handful of plays that you are talking about, so I do see what youre saying. But tbh, I saw at least 18 plays where he got a lot more yards going through guys and dragging guys, and would be more prone to use that film as a reason why he is a power back, than as evidence of him being soft. Dude beat the hell out of FSU in that game.

Watched the ND game, yes, much less impressive..but he also was barely used, and ND had it wrapped up midway through the third, so tough to say he could've done much more

I am going with Mostert as he has a good chance to be the RB1.

Your post made me curious.
What did Belichick teams do on draft day before Tom Brady?

Which be would you rather own

Opposite George is going with Raheem Mostert.

Why?
As was mentioned, both teams are sort of mess when it comes to the RB position.

Mostert was barely used the first 10 games. Yet still averaged 5.2 ypc.
But when the Niners needed that RB down the stretch and into the playoffs, his ypc jumped a full yard to 6.2 ypc.

Even if you take out the monster 220-yard game against Green Bay in the playoffs, he still averaged 5.5 ypc, which was not far from the 2019 stat-line of 5.8 ypc for the season.

Sony Michel by comparison dipped to 3.7 ypc in his second season, dropping from 4.5 ypc in 2018.
And if you can't find room to run on a Patriots team with Tom Brady at the helm.... you won't last long.
In all fairness, Michel's touches were pretty decent, even at the end of the season and in his only playoff game.
But he scored 7 rushing touchdowns which suggests he's not a goalline guy.

I don't see Michel making his own lanes with Brady NOT on the field.

I see this as a tale of two RB going in different directions. Mostert is the guy on the rise while Michel ... is not.

I'm not sure what it means exactly...but, it certainly appears he was heavy into OL and Defense, defense, defense, and outside of Vardell, the offensive skill positions were generally free agents or trades, including Testeverde replacing Kosar eventually. But whatever it was he was trying to do, it didn't work too well, only one winning season. I dunno what it means for sure.

BB's history of RB's in the first three rounds-
92 1st Vardell
95-99 NA
00 3rd Redmond
06 1st Maroney
'11 2nd Vareen
'11 3rd Ridley
'18 1st Michel
'19 3rd Harris

(James White was a 4th)
Most success he's had has been with outside acquisitions like Dillon and Blount, Ernest Byner..and theres a few of those available still, food for thought

I dunno what that means either, other than he does value the position, and certainly isnt afraid to keep swinging if player X doesn't succeed.

But, all that does is fuel my initial point of view, trying to figure our what he's going to do, new QB, entirely new ERA, fresh start pretty much all around..is just mind bending. My first inclination is, build defense, build the line, run the ball. But that's becuase that's what I'd do....I dunno

Neither have the Lions. (Unless you count Ebron, who didn't get a 5th year and then was PBer for Indy). And the last Pro Bowler they did draft made the PB the last years, so of course they traded him.

After bringing in Jamie Collins...
thats hard to do, its apopularity contest too, so not only r u drafting shitty players, ur drafting shitty players no one likes

My guys clearly learned from the best.

I'll go ahead and blame them for me cutting Mostert for a kicker, or maybe a TE, I forget. Fielded a full lineup though. Lol. And on that note, mark me down as a vote for Sony.

Well, my actual course is neither, since one can ever be sure if one or the other will be lead, committee or watch from the sideline. But IF I had no other course probably Mostert. .....

Mostert.

Whose job is it if it isn't his in one of the best running offenses in the league?

Michel fucking blows.

One more thing: Coaches always say they want to go with the hot hand... Mostert is the hot hand. And he proved it when he would be focused on the most... in the playoffs.

Dont want to jump on the crazy train, but he is the 27th ranked RB on Fantasy Pros. And if you saw some of the other names in his ranking vicinity, he's not a bad dart throw comparably.

Yeah think I switch my vote to Mostert over Michels but really rather find a alternative.
