TREFF
Fantasy Football Guru--??
mostert just keeps making me go back to three simple truths..
First he's never been anything more than depth and special teams ace. 5 teams and 5 years in the league, including 2 previous season under ShannyII, with very limited action. Its exceedingly rare that after five years a switch just turns on and he's a good RB all of a sudden, but coaches could never see that before.. Including his current one. I just don't buy that he's not just simply overachieving in a great system.
He never once started a game for ShannyII. Not after the big game against Balt, certainly not in the playoffs, and not even in the Super Bowl after the monster NFC title game, even after all that, ShannyII still went with Coleman or Brieda first out of the gate.
And finally, the dude only got the opportunity to shine due to injuries. When those guys aren't out, they're simply better RB's
I can only assume that when camp opens, the first cracks at the job will be Coleman, McKinnon, Brieda, then Mostert..becuase that's the way he's tried to play them, even when Mostert was the only producer
