Packers were all but out of it but the Cowboys gift wrapped them a win. Bears seem to be peaking at the right time offensively putting up 38 on the road in the cold to a top 10 defense. Lions are the ones in control of their own destiny.

I think if the Lions beat the Ravens tomorrow night, they win the North. If not, it will come down to Bears vs Packers in Week 17 in Chicago.

I have absolutely no confidence in my Lions being able to take care of business. Too many turnovers and drops this year. Should they ? Hell yes. They're talented enough and they'll be favored every game. If the lose tomorrow I think it's over for them, though, because I think the Pack & Bears both win next week.

The Bears were able to beat the Ravens when we were playing some of our worst football on both sides of the ball. That was before the offense started to click and at the very deepest part of the defense sucking. We still beat the Ravens in OT.

I think the Lions SHOULD win tomorrow and easily. But you never know.

If they can lose to the Bucs at home they can lose to the reigning super bowl champs, even if they're down this year. -10 +/- ... only the Falcons, Giants, Texans & Jets are worse. That been the killer.

Now that you mention the Giants...

If the Lions don't lose to the Ravens tomorrow, the only other real chance they have to not win the division is Week 17 at Minnesota. I can't see EVEN THE LIONS losing in Detroit to the Giants.

I agree. Some of the guys on the Lions board are worried about the Giants, but I don't see it. They could definitely lose in Minnesota, though. With Rodgers coming back I don't see the Steelers going to Lambeau and winning. I thought Philly had a great shot against your guys until today when they lost to the Vikes without Peterson. How the hell does that happen ? At this point I'm just hoping it goes down to the last week.

I actually think the Packers have some momentum going with Flynn as crazy as that sounds. Albeit it was against 2 bad defenses in Atlanta and Dallas. I would not be surprised if Rodgers came back vs the Steelers and was rusty and they got beat. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he had 4 TDs so who knows.

Meeeeh I don't know about that. The key words are "Atlanta and Dallas" defenses. I haven't watch Atlanta, but Dallas' D is comically bad. I have a feeling Rodgers won't come back until he's ready. But it's the NFL. Anything is possible. I hope you both lose. lol Seriously I don't want the Lions to back in and wouldn't be heartbroken if they miss the playoffs. The best they could hope for would be a home field win and then get crushed in Seattle or New Orleans. The playoffs insure another year of Schwartz & company and I don't think he and his OC get anywhere near what they could out of the talent they have. They've had the lead in the 4th quarter in 5 of their 6 losses.

I think the Bears were one better timed jump away from losing yesterday. Up until that point the bears weren't all that special and another INT bring your emo qb one step closer to a meltdown and adds more energy to the browns.

I think the Packers were 1 boneheaded coach away from being put away early yesterday.

And the Bears defense is no better then those two. Briggs won't change the inability they have at stopping a competent offense, because they were bad with him and Tillman healthy.

Does it even matter at this point? yea its great to make the playoffs but not one of these three teams will be able to hang with the Niners, or the Hawks and Saints on the road. I see a curb stomping in somebodies near future.

A part of me is hesitant of Rodgers coming back because he very well could be rusty. Then again, he could come back mad...and when he is mad he is very very dangerous.

The Lions will beat the Ravens. I know it's hard to watch the Lions fail year after year, ive been a Lions fan since the early 70's so i know the score. I have faith in them against the ravens. We will see what happens tonight on MNF..

You really can't go off what teams did weeks ago. Baltimore is a different team...as is Detroit from where they were.

Ding ding ding............we have a winner.

This is what I`ve been telling my fellow Bear fans, butthey keep on insisting the "any given Sunday".
Well ok,it does happen. They keep bringing up the giants/Pats SB of 07 or 08(forget which year),when the Giants was the last seed and won the SB......
Well the difference is,none of these teams has a defense to be able to stop Brees,Wilson and kaep.

Its not gonna happen.
I do believe the Packers have the best shot at it tho,(please God no).lol

Lacy is looking great and if Rodgers makes it back it could be done,

Yeah, Jeffery is great but that should have been a fair catch for the DB. It reminded me of the Raven's TD that tied it against the Broncos and sent it to OT in the playoffs last year. He just badly misplayed the ball. To be fair I think the Bears would have won anyway. But who knows.

All 3 teams (Chicago, Detroit and GB) have the Offenses to hang with anyone, with the Bears having the most potent O of the 3, IMO) All 3 defenses is another story however. I'd hafta say Detroit has the best D of the 3, but their piss-poor coaching and lack of discipline generally overrides that.

Whether we go one and done or not, I'd still like to see em' finish strong, and would love the chance for at least an extra game.
