Who is the face of the MLB?
Yeah, if the Angels were even occasionally in the playoffs then this probably wouldn't even be a discussion. And again, I don't think that takes anything away from Trout as far as being the BEST player in the game. I just think it opens up the discussion for FACE of baseball. Especially since Trout is the type that doesn't care much for being in the spotlight.Since they are currently in the play off race either Betts or Tatis Jr.
Should be Trout but he doesn't get as much attention since he's never really in it

Agree. I'm not an Angels fan, but I typically root for them to make the playoffs every year just because I wanna see Trout there.Trout and it's not even close. Sad that guy will finish his career in LA (or the majority of his good years) like Griffey Jr. did in Seattle.
That is on the Angels' management. They have made some bad personnel decisions. It would be nice if Trout could get to the playoffs again, and he should be able to. He is very loyal to his team, as they have been very good to him. I applaud this attitude, but it doesn't surprise me. I had a chance to talk to him occasionally when he played in the Midwest League. It was obvious that he didn't need to be there, but he stayed because he wanted to finish the season with his "boys".Yeah, if the Angels were even occasionally in the playoffs then this probably wouldn't even be a discussion. The Angels haven't been better.
