I really hate the idea that you have to be an “alpha” to be a great player. It just isn’t true.

If Harden is an “alpha” he certainly is not the type of positive, unselfish, win first leader that a team would want.

If your “alpha” is leading in a negative direction that is actually a very bad thing.
If I have to lean on one dude when the chips are down, I’m leaning on James, not Kevin.

Not looking at either for leadership.

Harden has never shown he can be leaned on in any game that mattered much.

But, of course, the suckeyes pay their players a lot more as well.

Hey you tried to brag about filling the biggest toilet, I mean stadium in the country. Pathetic mighty meeeechegan had to resort to bribing student to attend football games.

Will Harbaugh chicken out & try to cancel the game again? Odd Ohio State was able to play last season missing more than 20 players for a game & the HC.

Is it Harden's history of coming up huuuuuge in the playoffs that leads you to think that? lol

Not sure why.

KD has made game winning shots in the NBA Finals.

James Harden has tended to fade away and play terribly in elimination games.

And who are you looking at for leadership in the Nets?

Joe Harris?

I agree. Pussy or not though, KD is a proven performer in the playoffs and has 2 finals MVP's. Harden has a history of coming up small in the playoffs.
That is accurate. But I think Harden has always blown his wad during the season.

I don’t see much leadership.

Said early in the season that Steve Nash was gonna hate his life dealing with these personalities.

I am not a fan of this collection of individuals.

This is true, and for arguably the first time in his career, we will see him in the playoffs with a much lower usage rate...which might make a difference.

But until we see him actually perform at a star level in the playoffs, it's kind of hard to put him ahead of someone who has actually performed like a star in the playoffs. No matter how much of a pussy he may be.

Not for me.

And mind you, I’m exactly a fan of Harden.

Harden has been a postseason choker

KD has been a postseason assassin

that’s my answer

So they cancel each other out...leaving the Nets playoff fate in the hands of Kyrie. A guy who makes more excuses to not play basketball than Justise Winslow.

I don't think they get out of the East. I think Philly and Milwaukee can both beat them.

They're too vulnerable in the paint and they don't play defense. That's a bad combination for the playoffs.

If they do manage to get to the finals, if the Lakers are there and healthy, I don't think the Nets can beat them either.

I think they are the one team that can defy conventional thinking when it comes to postseason basketball.

like a great QB covers a lot of flaws on a football team, their insane ability to score will cover their defensive deficiencies

they definitely don’t defend, but I just don’t see anyone being able to defend them
