I can't say I haven't been hoping but it really doesn't look like its going to. The pats don't "overpay" veterans and abraham clearly wants more than anyone thinks he is worth at this point. I think the pats have mostly been right, but not always (letting Seymour go was a huge mistake) and I think they are making a mistake here, but

why do think its going to happen given that it hasn't yet?

I don't think it will be Denver. I think we're set.

I don't want him. I don't think he's that much of an upgrade, and he demands too much money for what he adds.

Of these teams I say the Titans. #1, and this is the main reason...they're the only true 4-3 DEF of this group. #2, He's better than Wimbley who is the projected starter.

With the Broncos just signing Clady long term and really front loading his contract I think they showed that they are done with FA signing unless there is a major injury sometime soon.

John Abraham, a 35-year-old defensive end, has agreed to a two-year deal with the Cards after spending the last seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, a source told FOX Sports. - NFL News | FOX Sports on MSN

John Abraham wants to put the finishing touches on what he believes to be a Hall of Fame career while chasing his first Super Bowl.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection will attempt to accomplish both goals as a member of the Arizona Cardinals this season — and maybe one more.

He's better be there for ten years and be the GM too if he wants that to happen.
