I like their competitive spirit - to me, they both exemplify professionalism, commitment to excellence, and dedication to the game. Admittedly, both have had some crazy/strange moments, too.

The Patriots. When I was younger and my folks were planning on building a house in New Hampshire (while we still lived in Maryland) I started following the Boston teams. The move never happened, but the following of Boston teams remained.

I am rooting for the Broncos. I want Peyton to win another ring so people may shut up about the Mannings.

I don't want the Patriots to make it because in 2001, I made a horrible bet with my brother. He was throwing a Super Bowl party because I talked him into it. As a nice gesture I bought him an AFC Champion Patriots hat. During the game I said "Why don't me make a little bet. If that Pats make the Super Bowl I will buy you an AFC Champion hat and if the Bills make it you have to buy me one". As you all know that didn't turn out well for me since the Pats have been to many and the Bills haven't been in the playoffs.

I'm kind of that way with the Packers. Growing up, there was a playoff rivalry between the 49ers and Packers and my uncle is a huge Packers fan. I hate when Green Bay does good in the playoffs. The only time I want the Packers to win in the playoffs is when it would lead to them playing the 49ers. Then I want the 49ers to beat them in the playoffs.
