For me, the last one seemed the most satisfactory as a fan for a few reasons.
They tied Pittsburgh at 6.
They seemed to overcome bigger odds earlier in the season.
There were more doubters up through the first three quarters of the season, rating them underdogs.
You're too old
Who would have thought 3-0 at the half and 3-3 after the third..what a great defensive game in this day of high flying offenses.

The first, finally four and 28-3 ....damn maybe I need to change my vote...

SB 38 against the Panthers.
I lived in Charlotte at the time and all my friends were Panther fans.
After the game the flight from Atlanta to Charlotte was delayed. I found myself in a very happy mood while surrounded by angry, bitter Panther fans. I remember one drunk redneck looking women. She was growling at me saying, "it's terrible what the Patriots did to the Panthers"
My somewhat puzzled reply, "What? You mean? win?"

Went with the next one. That could put them in sole possesion of who has the most.

I like the Atlanta come back but like Southie the win against the Seahawks was the best for me. Similiar reasons I was living in the PNW with all those douchy 12s.

2016.................All was lost until the greatest comeback in the history of professional sports, let alone the NFL.

I've rewatched that game at least 20 times and it never gets dull.

Every year I remind myself I did think they would ever win one.

It has been gravy and frosting ever since.
Congratulations to all true and old school Pats fans. It has been good, and here's to the next one!!!
But don't forget those dark days.

Favorite SB was the Falcons, of course. Seattle comes in second. 2001 Rams 3rd.

Favorite playoff run was the 2004 season.

How'd the loss to Denver prove that Brady is the GOAT?

2001 because you never forget your first of anything. Add in the additional intrigue of both the Raider and Pittsburg playoff run, the Brady wonder child theme and the lunchpail toting attitude of the entire team.

Any SB win year is special, but 2001 was just wow.

This. Add post-9/11 and Bledsoe coming back on to help win the PIT game to that, too. They’re all amazing and special in their own way, but the first one was just a little extra.

they lost to Denver in 2016
... i meant 2017 Sb when they came back against Atlanta

... Super Bowl 2015 when ne came back against Seattle

Patriots win the Super Bowl on dramatic late pick

Haha ... I always confuse the years ...

For super bowl the year can be confusing because usually the year refers to the season and the super bowl that happened in 2016 was for the 2015 season.

The two things that stand out to me in that game about Bledsoe was 1) the touchdown drive and 2) him immediately turning back into Bledsoe and throwing the ball up for grabs while he was getting sacked.

I appreciate that Drew was a stand up kind of guy and was at the forefront of the franchise getting turned around but I used to cringe every time that guy had the ball in his hands.

I agree 100%. Stand-up guy who had lost some zip off his fast-ball. Yeah it was fantastic that he had the big touchdown against the Steelers (so he can legitimately claim he was part of the championship) and then throwing it up for grabs for a near interception. Pure Bledsoe!

YAY!!!! Bledsoe is great
OMFG Get the bum out of there!

You are wrong about Drew. Not the stand up guy part, he is. His issue on the football field was ad-libbing and it drove Belichick nuts. Drew wanted to carry the team and often tried to do it when he didn't need to... Belichick wants the game plan to carry the team.

I heard this story about Drew that I'm not certain is accurate (anyone else here it?). While in Buffalo he was a captain and was given a directive to choose a specific end zone if they lost the coin toss. They lost the coin toss and he chose the opposite end zone. Coach asked him why and he said it looked like the flags had changed directions. Coach didn't ask him to check flags, just choose an end zone. That was his last season in Buffalo.

Sooo...Did he choose the end zone because the flags told him they would be throwing and kicking PAT/FG with the wind to end the game??
Or was he superstitious about which side of the flag he was looking at?
Or he let the flags decide by pointing at which end zone to pick?
