LA teams??? Aminu over Hayward and PG13, McDyess over Garnett. Olakowandi over anyone (Dirk or Pierce), Wright over Kobe/Nash. Lamond Murray over Eddie Jones, Danny Ferry over Glenn Rice, Reggie Williams over Pippen, Benoit Benjamin over Mullin/Karl Malone, Lancaster Gordon over Otis Thorpe...

It's not always huge and glaring, but I don't think they've ever picked the best available. Maybe Blake Griffin, but I believe James Harden went a few picks later.

Was going to say Minnesota. just bad, especially with PG's and big names that didn't last (Rider, Laettner, Marshall), but Garnett and Allen back to back was nice.

And past 20 or so years... Lakers?
- Didn't draft Kobe
- best pick has been Marc Gasol who didn't help them
but they've usually not had good picks or picks at all. So less bad, more about lack of them.

If you go WAY back they have Magic and Worthy which is 2 hall of famers- one an inner circle hall of famer

but taht is true- the Lakers draft history has been fucking terrible the last 30 years.

Bynum might be their best pick in the last 30 years. Eddie Jones and Nick Exel?

Ehm... what?

Who has been terrible?

Are you going back to 'Lonzo and Ingram are scrubs'?

Alternatively, let's just use the last few years as an example. What position was Kuzma drafted in? How about Josh Hart? Clarkson? Nance?

Coincidentally, Nick van Exel was the 37th pick in the 1993 draft. The same draft where the cavs selected the almighty Chris Mills

They got Kobe on a draft day trade that was set up prior to the draft. Heard that guy was pretty good.

Considering Lebron and Kyrie are gone.

I'd say it's more like saying that too bad the Homeowners Association had to kick him out of his 15 million dollar mansion because his landscaping was so shitty.

well yah Magic and Worthy are gone from the Lakers too- does that mean they dont count? LOL

LeBron will go into the Hall of Fame as a Cleveland Cavalier- and just maybe as THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.

Kyrie Irving hit arguably the biggest shot in the HISTORY OF THE NBA in a Cavs uniform.

did you know that LeBron has played 848 games in a Cavs uniform while Magic only played 906 in a Laker uniform? thats not even counting Miami- or anything that may happen in the future

And yet, Lebron is in LA and Kyrie is in Boston.

Does Minnesota get bonus points for picking 3 point guards in the same draft that Steph Curry was available?

The Cavs.

No way. Sure they screwed up by drafting Bennett # 1 overall. The other # 1 picks have been damn good. Brad Daugherty, LeBron, Kyrie.

The Blazers though took Bowie & Oden instead of MJ & KD. Not even close. It's Portland.

Even Bennett wasn't a screw up, they flipped him into Kevin Love. Plus, at the time people were putting Derrick Williams over Kyrie to be the #1 pick. Cavs took Kyrie, not sure if Williams is still even in the league.

A lot of teams have had plenty of high draft picks and none i recall as good as lebron and kyrie...Some teams have yet to pick a superstar to this date.
