Clearly, he's getting older, but from what I've read, his offense is suffering because he's really focusing on his defense while the youngsters are learning how to play NBA level defense.

Hopefully, once the young guys are consistently playing good defense, he'll be able to concentrate a little more offense.

He can still spot up for 3's right... I'm just saying, I'm sure I'm not the only one who assumed he would perform better than he has so far. He is already kind of getting phased out by Ingram but the season is still young. For that contract though, you would hope he does more than just help those who aren't veterans.

As I said, he is teaching the younger rookies how to play the game. You referred to him as a dinosaur, but in the real world that's called experience and a smart businessman like Kupchak recognized that and got the best he could get for a team that only had 14 wins.
