Good album that Dire Straits one, for driving on the road. It helps if you are driving west, but that is a minor distraction. Keep on driving ...

And then all the baggage carried. 80s started with crazy stuff (not including Disco music) like this. People actually bought tickets and filled pitchers of drink to hide in coolers to watch stuff like this:

And then the Stones had the stones to do this, pure 80s disco music:

Late 70's music sounded very close to early eighties music. Kind of in the same way that early nineties music sounded very close to late 80's music.

Forgettable.

I was replacing my vinyl from the sixties with mostly the same music on CD during the eighties. To be honest, I think the last "new" music I bought was Eric Clapton Unplugged.

Well if you grew up in the 80's it was the best because songs like this could never be created today:

- come on now the synchronized guitar playing that is a classic!
- seriously a classic

You have to admit the concerts were fun. Now today no one wants to see those same women show their goods.

Seriously I really can't rate any better than the other since I like music across all decades from the 50's on.

Some Girls was 1978
True. But, it had a more pop beat than traditional Stones rock songs. Sort of like a preview of things to come ...

I'm sure if those bands do a show now they get different, younger girls.
