I don't predict the future. As a football fan I prefer seeing the glass half full. It's been pretty remarkable more haven't been infected thus far in camp....gives me hope.

I also think the league will do everything they can to get the season played. May have a couple of unplanned league wide bye weeks, but they seem committed to the cause

What happened to the DE from the small Texas school the Saints traded a 1st rounder to move up and draft a few years ago - Davenport? Is he any good or not working out?

Not sure a over pay is in the works because a team could of done that long ago. Doesn't get a ton of sacks but gets lots of QB pressures and commands double teams and plays the run good. The injury thing is a concern, not sure about the lazy charge. Wasn't any sign of it last season.

He's overrated but overrated doesn't mean bad as he's a good player but he's pretty inconsistent.

He'll have monster games where he'll take over and he'll have run of the mill games that he plays well but doesn't do anything to really impact a game.

He's definitely worth a one year flyer for any team but I would not want to give him a huge deal at all especially with looming cap uncertainty.

I don't think he played with Clark or Bennett.... but Watt being way better than either of them, your point stands.

You're right... For some reason I thought he had 1 year with Bennett while in Seattle. He didn't play with Clark either? Was that the year Clark was traded?

Pretty sure they traded Clark away and for Clowney in the same year (of course, I could go look that up... but what fun is that?). IIRC, we looked at it as trading Clark for Clowney (+ a little value because we gave up.... a 2nd? for Clowney and got a 1st for Clark).

Got a 1st and Future 2nd for Clark (and swap of 3rds), Gave up a 3rd and Jacob Martin for Clowney (and Mingo). Both happened in 2019.
