Where do the Buffalo Bills rank in the decade of the '90s?

We all know that the Cowboys were the team of the '90s with three Super Bowl wins.
For the other teams that won Super Bowls in that decade: Denver 2, San Francisco 1, Green Bay 1, New York Giants 1, Washington 1, and the St. Louis Rams won one.

The Bills had the second best regular season record in the decade behind the 49ers, and they made the most trips to the Super Bowl with four.

They also tied for the most years in the playoffs with eight with the Cowboys and 49ers.

Just as a comparison: The Rams were 58-102 and made the playoffs only one season with one Super Bowl title. The Bills were 103-57 with eight playoff seasons and four Super Bowl appearances. Who had the better decade?

I would say Cowboys, 49ers, and Packers rank higher. Then the Bills.

Look at all of those Chiefs regular season wins. Man.

NFC was definitely stronger than the AFC during this period. That said, Bills should have beaten the Giants. I don't think having them as the third best team of the 90s is too far off. Its kind of a meaningless designation relative to championships but its probably the right answer. I think had TD played for the Broncos longer I would have them higher.

Yeah I do recall KC winning a lot then and not being able to win a playoff game until they did in 93 or 94.

This analysis should also be provided for the 70s Vikings. Like the Bills, they lost to these absolute Juggernauts that were in the other conference.

PS, How the Vikings won 95 games in the 90s with the hodgepodge at QB that they had for the entire decade, is actually incredible.

4. Oakland, one SB trophy
5. Minnesota, three SB appearances ('69 team lost to KC in SB IV), fifth best regular season record, tied for second for most playoff seasons eight, tied for fifth most playoff wins with seven.

I'm not sure if SB years should count for the time of year they aired. The regular season was 69 for the 70 SB.
