if this game is outdoors in buffalo atlanta loses by double digits....
Attendance drops: In their sixth regular-season game in Toronto, the Bills saw their attendance drop since last season's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The announced attendance was 38,969, while 40,770 fans saw last season's contest. The Rogers Centre's football capacity is 46,470, not including luxury boxes. There was a wide swath of empty seats in the upper deck behind one end zone, but the close game kept the crowd into it.
You are assuming 2 things:
1) That the fans aren't already pissed & have been pissed about it for years now.
2) That the fans or players have any say in the matter since it is strictly a ploy for money.
What I'm pissed off about right now, is that the Refs called 2 BS penalties on the Bills late in the game which allowed the Falcons to tie it up.

That plus the "fans" sit on their hands. The 12th man is gone, this game pissed me off so much the two calls were BRUTAL even the Fox announcers said so. The elements are not there and half of the "fans" are jerking off during the play instead of giving a home field advantage. That game made me fucking sick!!
Not entirely true...the play by play guy was neutral I thought, but the analyst thought it should not have been called even though he clearly saw the jersey being grabbed.
FWIW...the Falcon radio team which had been complaining all game about the lack of calls, did question why they started calling it late.
I was actually more concerned about the phantom "illegal contact" call on Williams but both were bad. It was almost funny because they went to show the replay on Fox for the penalty and the color commentator said "Ok there's Williams....Um......I....Um I really don't see anything um" and they thought maybe they got number wrong and couldn't find another player doing it and he just said " Um, I don't know what he saw". That's just pretty bad. Williams said he asked the ref who he touched? They were playing a zone and he was deep there wasn't a player even close to him. He said the ref wouldn't say anything to him.
Oh well Life goes on but like I said in my other post (on the hockey board) I'm concerned about an epidemic of calls this year in a lot of games are not even close and I don't get it. For the life of me I can't understand why no flag was thrown against Tomlin when he's on the field near the play under the linesmens nose. They are not even allowed to be on the six foot white stripe. BTW I like the Steelers. That call on the Gronk play last week, WTF is going on, it's like we have the replacement refs back this year. A couple of the late games last night had a few funky calls.
In The Bills case yes they also shot them self in the foot with the two fumbles.

Anyway as a Bills we are accustomed to saying " Wait till next year!"![]()
Tomlin...agree. He'll get tagged here pretty soon with a big fine.
What was funny about that was it was so subtle that in live action no one really noticed it...Al Michaels and Chris the Steeler hater Collinsworth didn't even comment on it until well after the play was over and replays stirred up the BAL crowd.
I like the young QB up there in BUF...another year or so you guys might have a real player there.
