it was all new to me. most quoted would be hard to whittle down, but it wasn't that.

If you want one that got a lot of airplay off the top of my head Wyclef references it at the end of "We Trying To Stay Alive". I bet it's in more songs that you know than you realize.

What more can I say? Top billin'

You've really never heard this refrain before?

This is what the genius page lists

"Rapped to a beat by Stetsasonic’s Daddy-O, Milk Dee’s lyrics continue to be referenced and sampled to this day.

Some examples include “Otis” by Jay-Z and Kanye West, The intro to Biggie’s Ready to Die, and “Nobody Speak” by DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels."

edit: found a list Top Billin' - Notable References

I edited and posted a longer list that I found.

I'm not saying I like them all, I'm just saying it's been referenced a lot.

I can't believe this wasn't the first one that popped into my head. The chorus

Yeah this was fantastic (for instance I just posted "Uh Huh" but I prefer this version). Same dude that produced the Professor Elemental song I posted earlier.

There are many beautiful blends on You Tube. I find them fascinating. I rip them to mp3 and play em in the car. They almost sound like brand new songs.
