When It's All Said And Done Who Is YOUR 1st Round Pick?

I was really thinking I'd go corner in round one but will the value be there? Right now I'm leaning towards Jaelen Strong. He's a nice sized receiver with good enough speed and he flat out fights for the ball. Love the way he just plucks the ball.

As soon as Cooper, White, and Parker are gone, I make sure I get this guy. It'll be interesting to see who might actually be there and who might fall. Who do you really want to see as an Eagle? Who's your 1st round pick?

Kevin Johnson CB, Alvin Dupree OLB (now that Chip hung Marcus Smith out to dry) or OT/OG Ereck Flowers (my new OL man crush now that La'el Collins has no shot of dropping to 20). Those are my 3 guys for pick 20.

That 40 time was ridiculous! Does his timed speed match his field speed? Running in the 4.2s the obvious answer is yes but it seems as though it was a surprise how fast he was.

I thought he was 4.4 fast he was even faster than i expected....you can see he spins Cb's around on deep routes all the time, they can't keep up with him, so yeah he is fast!

Moving up to get Mariotta

Seen the ESPN guys have your boy going to the Dolphins Wings. Had Collins going to the Eagles I would be down for that if he drops which I doubt he does. I think we move up after Chip missed out on his guys last year. Not up for Mariota but up for a WR/CB or Collins. Kendricks looks like his trade chip.

My dream... WR Kevin White (worth going up to 6 to get him?)

My hope... WR Strong or WR Perriman (both seem to drop easily to us)

I am not usually a proponent of getting a WR in the 1st round, but this is a GREAT WR class, and some very physical WR's. We are in huge need here. And such a WR makes "ANY" quarterback look better than he is. I love the Matthews pick last year, and I want to build on that. I want him to start, this year, and be given the opportunities to be a ROY candidate.

I don't think Mariota is worth going up to get. If he really wanted this, he should have given more playing time to growing players, and made moves to invest in the future and tank the season making this a more realistic chance.

I won't be upset with a CB or OL. Both are areas of need, even if not as sexy. But I just really would hate to let the quality of WR's get by us. I watched Reid do that ALL the time - let the strength of a position in a draft go by. It was infuriating.

That would be a reach in round 1. I believe we could get him in the second easy.

My wish is for Chip to trade up for Kevin White. I know it's a pipe dream, but that's my answer to the question.

Realistically, I think we wind up with either Jalen: Collins or Strong.

Who I would love to see us draft if he's somehow still on the board: Danny Shelton, Brandon Scherff

If we trade up for someone: Kevin White or DeVante Parker

This would fit Kelly to a T in my opinion.
- This team desperately needs DBs. As currently configured they may be worse than last year.
- I expect Kelly to make what most people would view as a "reach" pick. Kelly thinks (and maybe is) he is smarter than everyone else, and will pick the guy he views as the best even if it may be a round early.
- This guy has all the athleticsm you could possibly want. He was a 4 year starter, played both Safety and CB, was a team captain, and by all accounts is a terrific guy. The only reason he is rated lower is he went to UCONN and the "experts" hadn't heard of him much prior to the combine.
