When Does Reggie Smith Take Back Over At FS?

Reggie seems to be back at full strength and played well last week. He was the front runner to start at fs before his injury, now he's fully healthy again. What's the deal? I'm hearing all this Goldson starting news, I think Goldson should only be starting if Whitner is hurt.

I'm glad Reggie's back healthy now. I like Goldson and Smith starting but if Whitner is healthy we'll probably only see Reggie in on passing downs.

What? Dallas was week 2...

What he meant was the penalty on week 1 affected Williams on week 2. He was not as aggressive because he might be avoiding another penalty call

The best safety combination we can put on the field is Whitner at SS and Goldson at FS.

but Whitner at SS for sure, and IMO I'll give the edge to Reggie at FS over Goldson.

Smith hardly even played in these first few weeks. He was coming off of knee surgery (torn meniscus). I'm just saying that Smith outplayed everyone in the secondary during training camp and now he's healthy again. Now that he's healthy he comes in making plays in limited action.

Goldson didnt look too bad last game, not sure he even got tested that much. Im sure it will be Goldson and Whitner for now with Smith playing some spot duty. Still waiting for the ball hawk Goldson we saw 2 years ago.
