That's nothing. Just wait til they roll out their plan that requires you to have a surveillance camera pointed at your couch to ensure no "non subscribers" are watching with you.
I think this is meant as jest, but the second Black Mirror episode addressed this concept in a terrifying way. And the Tesla FSD technology, when viewed with that endgame in mind, makes it possible. That's nothing. Yeah we're getting close to that. But I'm not even sure that that is worse than what mlb does now. "Get our mlb season package and see all the games of your favorite team". And by "all" we mean all except when they are playing a team in the market you live in, or when they are on a national Fox broadcast, or a national NBC broadcast or we sold the game to Apple TV, or we sold the game to Peacock, or we sold the game to Amazon Prime, or they are in the Field of Dreams game, which we sold to Netflix.....I think this is meant as jest, but the second Black Mirror episode addressed this concept in a terrifying way. In that episode, viewers needed to have cameras trained on their faces to ensure they were watching the screens during ads. No skipping, no going to the john during commercial breaks. If you wanted access to the show (or internet, or whatever) you HAD to watch the ads.
watching season 2 of Your Friends & Neighbors
Jon Hamm is great and it feels like James Marsden is in ******* everything these days...I am not complaining. I like him.
comedy writers are on a different level sometimes.
That’s beneath you, Smitty. You know they’re store bought.
