What to do?

Obviously NU plays on TV tomorrow at 2:30. BUT, my son is calling the game at Concordia University, which starts at 1:00. He has asked me to be his spotter. After that game, my grand daughter is making her first stage appearance in the Universities production of A Christmas Carol.

Now, I could go ahead DVR the Husker game and spot for my son, but I am sure that somewhere between the game and the play I will hear someone talk about it, ruining the whole thing for me.

Missing the play is not an option.....

This may sound extreme, but, you know that scene in Platoon where the brother stabs himself in the thigh after the battle so he can get a medivac out?

Might be easier to dvr it and just say "LALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU" very loudly if you hear someone start to talk about the Husker game.

Thank God it wasn't last weeks game. Just do your best not to hear anything about the game.

Have fun with your son at his game and later with the granddaughter at her play.

I have had to dvr the last two games because of my daughters games. Now I am in Tennessee so it is a lot easier to not hear anything but turn the radio off, turn the tv off and tell everyone you see I don't want to know about the game.

It's nice skipping all the commercials too

ive never been able to DVR games. Even when someone doesn't tell you the score or what happened, you can get a big sense by looking around what happened lOL

Well, we will be attending the play on SUNDAY night. All I have to worry about at the Concordia game is if the announcer gets the score and announces it over the loud speakers.... but, since I will be sitting right next to him in the press box I can whack in the arm to make him stop.
