Well, it just started, but the Mitchell extension was ridiculous, especially given how he quit in the ECF and still is a liability on defense...You're gonna love that albatross in a few years but, hey, your management is used to those. Harden was a bad trade and, for as injured as he is, you're still clearly better off with a good defensive guard in Garland to compliment Mitchell's lack of D on the other side. And, with Harden, you're basically a "my turn, your turn" offense which rarely works out and fizzles every time. This is especially bad considering they clearly made the deal with the promise to extend Harden but maybe they can wiggle out of that. Then we have the Mobley contract which is f***Ing ridiculous and makes it where you'll have to include picks to even trade him...we're acting like Jalen Duren getting more than 35-mil is ridiculous after his last playoffs and Mobley was just as inconsistent and is making 50 next year. And now we're thinking of adding Bron to this mess when he was completed gassed by Round 2 last playoffs? Not to mention you're probably going to be over the 2nd apron just for THIS?

Your team had one of the most pathetic ECF performances I've ever seen. If you're proud of a team that had the worst duo of defensive guards and are adding another aging guy who also doesn't defend then go right ahead...must be nice to have standards so low. The Pistons won the East and at least they're smart enough to realize the team's flawed and needs major changes. Cleveland's doubling down on this mess of a team they have and you're all for it? Charlotte improved, The Heat improved, Toronto improved, Philly improved...

Mitchell quit in the ECF? any team with Mitchell would have been thrilled to extend him to that deal especially when he could wait a year. Not sure what other bad deals would make us used to this one never mind it's not even known to be bad yet.

Mobley is far better than Duren and you've gone completely off the rails so had to stop there. sometimes I'll let irrational go but you reached another level. Mobley was our most consistent player in the playoffs and was part of Duren playing like garbage and being played off the court.

In the 2nd round vs OKC, Lebron averaged 38 mpg, 23 ppg, 6 apg and 6 rpg. He shot 50% from the field and 36% from 3. Both of those were higher percentages than he shot in the first round when he wasn't "gassed".

There's this thing on the interwebz called Google where you can look up damn near anything.

Sure, he's much better than most coattail riders even in his 40s, but still that question remains (and the presence of that documentary looms over it all).

If the Lakers had fawned over him for one more year, I think that would've been his preferred option. They had other plans, so now what? Seems like Cleveland is the necessary bookend to the story. Holding the league hostage while he makes up his mind is getting annoying. How will he handle retirement if he needs to be THE story all the time like this?

Right now on fanduel, Cleveland has the 10th best title odds and Miami is 11th.

Both of these teams would have a chance with LeBron, but they are pretty far from top contenders without him.

agree with a lot of this...especially the 2nd paragraph. But if he doesn't want to coat tail ride where is he going that he's that team's best player and they can win?

It's always been his nature. He quit the Cavs to join a better team in Miami, he quit the Heat to join the better team in Cleveland, and then did the same with LA. It's always what will keep him from "greatest" status for me. Other stars made it work at the teams they were drafted...Bron's always chased after the elite teams.

The only reason he won't do that this time is because the elite teams don't even want him. He's more of a burden and load now than he is benefactor.

He'll be like Peyton, Tom Brady and Beckham are now where they'll still thrust themselves onto broadcasts and commercials in attempts to be relevant. I think @trojanfan12 already tried to tell you about this Google thing available to avoid needing to make things up (lie) to support your narrative(s). The Cavs were the better team than the Miami team that had been to 4 straight Finals? The LA team was better than the Cavs team that went to 4 straight? Yes, those teams made Finals because they had Lebron but that just means he knew they were title caliber teams. He could not know the teams he joined in LA would be such a team and, really, if he wanted the best shot at that time it was stay with the Cavs or go to Philly.

Totally agree with your other 2 paragraphs and he is well beyond those guys. Lebron is the GOAT of wanting to be in the spotlight and needing attention more than any top athlete maybe ever.
