I really don't care about Peguero. Never been much of a fan of his. Sure he can hit a towering homer every once in awhile, still doesn't make up for his K's.
That sums up his whole career in Seattle, he would come out and hit mamouth shots then go on a two week slump of striking out on breaking balls....
I may be alone but I think Peguero was just another example of the Mariners not being able to develop talent. He had raw power but they never developed a single thing about his game, would've figured they could've at least made him a decent OF which they didn't, nor did they do anything with his approach. Saunders had to go outside the organization to get help with his approach.
And Peggy traded to the Royals...and no we didn't get Butler for him. We did get some cash that should help pay for Felix's wife's credit card bills.
